  2. Hi everybody, I have been visiting the forums for the last two days and find it as a useful tool to both increase and recap your knowledge. Kudos to guys like shivaharimani, chanda, yadav etc who are doing tremendous jobs. All of you are seniors to me in this forum for one way or the other. And you have really put up a great content here. But I feel that things can be improvised and strengthened. And to make it happen, lets put some knowledge snippets ranging from your typical mnemonics, memory tools, power recaps and trivias WHICH CAN BE ASKED in the prelims exams; for the detailed discussions can be left for a later stage or on vestiges for now. I have already given the mnemonic for remembering the states which have legislative council with the apprehensions of Tamil Nadu to have making it a bit obscure and irregular to make it stick to your mind. I shall be doing the same regularly here. For those who have missed it, it can be accessed in the 'members of legislative council' thread(they are not allowing me to put in links here). The reason why I intend to start a new thread is it is very very cumbersome to follow all the threads for preparation if you are into recap mode or say info snippets mode. So guys why dont we change our mode to the recap or info-snippet and proceed for the prelims given that there are little more than 9x9 days. Things that can be posted (only a pointer to the diverse interests: Trivia (WHICH IS IMP FOR PRELIMS AND NOT SIMPLY INTERESTING AND UNIMPORTANT) New steps (LIKE Gurkha Council Bill the would Amendment) Interesting Hierarchies International Relations (for the purpose of PT it can be counted here) Historical panorama. Here goes another of my discoveries: The longest article of of the Constitution which spreads accross two parts? Ans: Article 243 [from 243 - 243A - 243Z - 243ZG] Spans the whole of Parts IX and IX A (The Punchayat and Municipality resp.) or the Local Self Government one. Mnemonic (It would have been very easy using slangs and indecent language but I wonder whether moderators would allow it. Please reply to this one, for most of mnemonics I have are too filthy to be decent) Thanks in advance
