hi am a medical student and i've opted for psychology as my subject in mains...i hav many list of books but am really confused as to which book to start with n how to go abt plz guide me
you mean just doing this one book (morgan&king) would "suffice" for mains? I'm about to finalize my 2nd optional for this year's mains (in Oct 2010)...very less time, i've shortlisted sociology and psychology (my first optional is Pub Ad)....dunno which one to take finally...can you help me out Nethra?
I was going through the sociology forums and learned that IGNOU books are to be read for sociology...I downloaded 3 of those books, and they seem to quite voluminous - at least in terms of the no. of pages! - even though you said that sociology is a relatively limited-syllabus subject? Whereas if one were required to finish just this one book (morgan&king), wont that be quicker? Please guide me.
-Regards
no were in any of my post regarding psycho mentioned that morgan & king book will cover the whole syllabus or you just read morgan & king so that whole syllabus is covered..why you will misunderstand my post/my writing?
sociology & psychology is good optionals..you can go for it ..otherwise go for p.a. & psycho / p.a. & socio choice is left to you...
S..ignou is good for sociology...
why you people will see the number of pages & then decide your optional till today i dont know? mains means definitely it consists of more number of pages...
why do you want to see number of pages & read...read by chapter wise so that it becomes very easy for you..
Putti...
Going about the subject is quite simple, as there is not much to follow and for a medical student indeed its quite easy. the subject is simple just go through the basic reference book of morgan and king and notes by examrace suucess series available at there website, i guess that is more than sufficient
