hey guys,

will the person be selected if he/she gets some very good marks in elective and just below cutoff in gs ,help me out

there is no minimum cut-off for General studies.
you can get in with just 40M provided that you've scored really great in your optional.
because the combined total of (300 m of Opt + 150 m of G/S) = 450 is counted , for each subject group.
but since compitition is also very high with in the subject group, you need to have good score in G/S as well.

Hey Guys,
did any one appear in UPSC 2009 from History?
I got corrected 62 ques in GS and 45 ques in History... what are chances..?
any one is having some guess about the cut off marks in History??
