But we can not say that it asks statistical questions. But rather it asks from the probability of maths portion. You can do as follows., 1. Be strong in your 10th maths(especially probability and geometry as well) to get a very good strong foundation. 2. Refer the book " Quantitative aptitude" by Agarwal which gives you all set of questions and ideas. 3. Try to solve all the mental ability questions from TMH series. This only will fetch you a greater confidence in you to handle many different questions in a different ways. 4. For the "statistics subject for mains" , you can refer the book "THE STATISTICS" by Pillai and Bagawathi. 5. Finally, with some strong foundation in maths and its simple idea to do a maths, we need to use our good presence of mind, thats the main thing actually . All the best parameshwar. do well....![]()

Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | dear Paremeshwari, TMH is Tata Mcgrahill book for UPSC General studies preparation which consists of collection of various traditional subjects of Preliminary GS., like History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Mental ability with a big bunch of question sets for the respective subjects. It is available in market. Hope you can get it from Krishna knowledge treasury.
