    What should one begin preparing for philosophy mains?Please guide me.
    I have already read some of the stardard prescribed books,but I found making notes not easy.

    I agree the list looks long, but one has to study as per the syllabus and topics.For intensive study to be thorough about a particular topic you may have to refer many books. A book may be of 400 pages but out of that you may require only one page.

    hi all,
    i am a fresher as per as philosophy is concerned.Does anybdy know what is the general prelims cut-off for philosophy(broad idea) and is it being opted by significant proportion of students (not as high as history or geo offcourse, but at least a sizable portion)?

    hi,

    are there any comprehensive guides/coaching center notes for philosophy that together cover the entire syllabus? i am looking for just 2 or 3 comprehensive pack of study material that i can focus my attention on, instead of trying to dig 10-20 books to find the relevant topic..
