mbbs or civil service..advice?

hello sir,,
i have completed mbbs and interested in doing upsc..
what shud i do..
i agree with you and hence i am thinking all the pros and cons..of both civil service and a medical career..

because , choosing non-medical subjects( which most ppl do) will mean bye bye to my medical career..so may b i think i may not have a backup plan later..
offcourse civils are more challenging and inspiring..

only you can answer whats best for you...mbbs-which gaurantees you good reputation and job security or ias-the ocean of uncertainity for sum1 whos not determined-and whole new world of opportunity on par with any job profile in our country

so my sincere advice to you-think for sometime,take your time-then decide-once decided dont ever look back!

u need to have a strog urge and determination to prepare for ias . aithough u have ur basic qualification in medicne u need to think abt ur interest . u can persue ur post graaduation after some sincere attempts for upsc but it is not same for reverse .so i suggest u if u want to do upsc leave every thing give sincere efforts without shaking ur determination after getting some negative feedbasck for upsc. be determined and strong . so remember if going gets tough tough gets going

what you can do no.

YOU CAN TAKE A PG COURSE AND STUDY FOR UPSC EXAMS
BECAUSE YOU WILL BE HAVING A VERY GOOD BACKGROUND TO IN WORST CASE.

AT LAST

YOU ONLY HAVE TO THINK AND DECIDE..

it depends on what kind of life u really want in the end and what kind of work u want to do. dont chose a career now just for the money or power. coz it really doesnt matter down the line. do what you love or as mrunal said "just follow ur heart" n just crack it man!

no seriously for dis one u will have 2 listen to ur heart......... just think of d reasons dat made u opt for medicine........
n if u r tryin to jst opt outta it bcoz of d long road ahead den think again coz d one u thinkin abt is even harder....... but if u have a backup if u don't clear civil services den it wud b easier............
