Linear Algebra book by Vashistha

hi all, i want to know whether the chapter 3 and 4 of the book Linear Algebra Krishna series by vashista is in the syllabus..

actually these topic( Inner product space and Bilinear forms) is not mentioned in the syllabus .

thanks for any advice on this..

you can escape bilinear form but you must have some preliminary knowledge about inner product space since knowing it you can feel very comfortable in linear algebra and matrix theory.

thank u for clarifying... yes i agree a bit of knowledge will be helpfull ofcourse...actually there a lots of theorem given in inner product space which are time consuming..i want to avoid tht...

Just try to understand what the theorem exactly says, no need to mug the proof of all those. We must have some special results in our mind always.

I wanted to know about you? Whats your second optional?
