Hi all!

So the d-day is a little more than a week away.

I too, after two ambitious and abortive threads to discuss maths before exam, have finally realized reasons of the unsuccessful threads earlier: partly due to my lack of activity on IO.com


So everybody, lets post in your last moment doubts queries etc.

I will definitely attempt to solve it. And I hope others may be present around to help you.

Here goes the first one:

prove that for a function f such that its derivative is continuous on [a,b] and derivable on ]a,b[, there exists c E [a,b] st

f(b) = f(a) + (b-a)f'(a) + {1/2}*(b-a)*(b-a)*f''(c)

Not that I don't know the solution, only if someone had a more intelligent solution.

I have done correct worth of 270 in paper 1 and 240 in paper 2, how much marks can i expect finally.
