i found that polity & p.a. both are same in syllabus & even subject matter.
now i want to know is there any p.a. questions put in g.s. paper in mains?
& how can i know if suppose the p.a. & polity both que are put it over there in paper of g.s.?
when these 2 subjects are same, y there should be a seperate subject in mains?

shalini if u see the Pap-2 of PA it is constitution of India which will help u a lot in GS paper 1 and 2.

Yes the Pol. Sci. and PA syllabus are almost same but if u are more inclined towards constitutional part then u can go for PA (same is the case with me).

im talking about indian polity.
i have been already opted for sociology & p.a. for mains
& soicology for prelims.

you are somewhere mistaken dear.
while polity is a part of the g.s. syllabus, public admin is an optioanl in itself and has a much wider syllabus.
polity deals with only the indian political system whereas the pub ad deals with the totality of the indian political system as well as the administrative scenario. hence eventually indian polity is a part of the iindian public administration.
moreover evn you opt for the public administration as an optioanl or not you have to anyway study the indan plity as a part of the compulsory g.s. paper.
