hey friends..can anyone tell me how important is language exam?i mean does the score of language paper,a deciding factor in ranking?how much preparation is required?plz help..i am very confused..!! | ||

i guess you are referring to the compulsory indian language paper in the mains. the compulsory indian language paper is only qualifying in nature. the marks obtained in it do not count for the total. you just need to clear the exam before your other papers in mains get valued. please check up this thread. it will clear your doubts remaining. compulsory indian language paper i'm shifting this thread to the appropriate forum.

Somewhere it was mentioned that,some people in mains fail in this paper & automatically their other papers are not evaluated at all (i dnt know whether this is indeed true!). If that is so,at least probably a minimal attention is needed for this one.But in general people clear it comfortably | ||
