Default Right to Information - Question in Interview

My best wishes to all the aspirants who had made it to the personality test of Civil Services Exam.

One area which you should prepare some question is on Right to Information. This is an area where Govt. as a whole has to face a lot of challenges and evolve to deliver better services to the citizens. RTI is and in coming times will force governemtn to be accountable to the core.
Guys and Gals do include this in your prepartion.

Default Re: Right to Information - Question in Interview

Hi to all the aspirants, Right now im working with Govt. of NCT of Delhi and dealing with the matters pertaining to the RTI Act, 2005. I have been to the Interview stage last year and this time also i m expecting a call.

As far as this the Right to Information act,2005 is concerned, it is a very important area as we saw in Pub. Admn. Mains paper-I,II. In interview also, that questions would be there particularly for those who are having PA as an Optional.

I find out certain area regarding RTI ACt as important viz,
1. The potential of RTI Act to wipe out corruption,
2. The shortcomings/drawbacks of the ACt,
3. some important case studies where applications of RTI Act really helped,
4. responses of people and bureaucracy,
5. also go through the main sections of the act,

so prepare well and all the very best.
