Could anyone please tell me about what coaching institute is recommended for the interview? Alos, when are the Mains results expected this year..thanks!

yes... coaching centers needed for students who are coming from rural back ground.. after mains results published in second week of march.. interview classes are starting in most of delhi institutes

well, no difference in requirements, either be it rural or urban background. its gives a morale boost only. at the end of the day u'l feel u didnt learn anything new. also, u get to know many like u and compare ur preparation. in the end What matters is ur CONFIDENCE.

Coaching institute gives you a lot of concentrated information about the current events. This information load boost self confidence.
And that too large extent is good but you should not go by the way of giving a answer by rote. As this may happen when you attend a coaching institute.
Use coaching institute only to get information. Process information, internalize it and add your attitude into the answer before you reply to the board. As the interview is personality test not a test of knowledge. The test of knowledge is already done by way of preliminary and mains.

Coaching institutes are good because
1) you are interviewed at least 3 times
2) you get to see at least 25-30 interviews
3) you get some oncentrated knowledge quickly
4) you get to know small small tips of etiquette like how to knock, walk in,greet, pull your chair, greet while going out etc
5) you more or less get to know how much you will get ( my batchmate and dear friend rajesh dhabre had predicted my marks almost exactly)
6) finally, it gives you confidence

thanks..sir..but my question is does it is compulsory to join coaching institute? because i...till today have not joined any institute..& also no time to join the institute...can't i not prepare by myself?..im working in transportation company..some suggestions please..?

I too could not join any coaching for Prelims and Mains, but took time off for interview coaching

sir .. im talking about full duration.. i.e. prelims, mains, interview..
rite now im spending 7-8 hours to study..that too looking after my family..just yesterday itself i have got 2 days leave sanction in my company that is on 19 & 20 ..thats all..

but you so cooly said working people can pass ias exam..im not understanding it..how..
