Default Pakistan- Its Enforced war on Terror.

Hello everyone, the statement of the Director of intelligence of the United states of America Mr.John Negroponte, saying that indeed Al-Qaeeda is regrouping and rebuilding in pakistan, has failed to surprise most of us here in India.India has on not one ocassion but a few hundred times in the past and currently as well, based on circumstantial evidence and more made certain very serious allegations against Pakistan.Complaints against Pakistan of abetting terror, offering support by way of providing "training" in insurgent and subversive activites have but failed to get The United States to initiate concrete action upon it.It is indeed an open secret,as to why successive U.S. governments have turned a blind eye to the "misdeeds" of successive heads of pakistan-democratically elected or by military coup. The world will, sooner than later, realise the gravity of the situation in pakistan, and act strongly and appropriately.A democratically elected government in pakistan wil no doubt be far more responsible, accountable and hopefully more honest in its approach to the extremely serious problem facing pakistan.Mere words can not describe India's patience and its perseverence with efforts to "talk" rather then pose belligerently and "go to war",with its hostile neighbour.Pakistan will ofcourse benefit immensely if it actually took upon itself to completely stop offering the so called "moral support",to all the banned outfits and individuals posing a threat to peace.Wishful thinking it seems at this point in time..

Hi Sharan, Acccording to u a democratic government in Pakistan will be more responsible in solving this problem. I seriously doubt this. As far as Pakistan is concerned, anything that is bad for India is good for it. So whether it is a democratic or military rule, Pakistan will always be very happy to gift us more bomb blasts.

I am agree with u but disagree with aproach of remarks. As of our nation concern, we are democractic nation with goal of universal brotherhood. If we are unable to get faith of our neighbours, then how will we establish us in front row of the universe. The political leader comments has done too much worst to india-pakistan interrelationship. We should overlook their harming approch and must be with positive frame of mind

Hello Lakshmi,I am glad you happen to read my post on the enforced role pakistan has had to don in the wake of the international war on terror. It is but common knowledge that the present dictatoral rule in pakistan has been presenting to India its hypocrtical and if I may,a rather insincere approach.Masquerading as being intolerant to terror, and radical thoughts emanating from certain sections of that country,is mostly palaver.I am inclined to be just a little in accord with what you say, when you pointed to the fact that neither a democratically elected government nor a military rule in pakistan have put forth sincere efforts in resolving long standing issues with India, but we ought to remember the fact that an elected government would still have to answer to the opposition, and even face the ire of an unbiased press,if it exists.I am sure you would'nt disagree when I say that Accountability is generally to be expected from the people's choosen gov. as against a leader who assumes power by coup.Optimism is definitely is the need of the hour, and our leaders have that in abundanace..seemingly!We cannot approach this issue on our hands with distrust, animosity and pessimism. It is a well known fact that the dissent in the minds of our own countrymen in Kashmir and elsewhere has allowed pakistan to fuel their subversive activites. Its an extremely dangerous ploy that pakistan has resorted to.It will sooner than later realise the fact that it is indeed walking the razor's edge. All said and done,we stiil cannot throw caution to wind and get on the offensive.Diplomacy is like other things,a matter of patience,perseverance..and ofcourse Trust. So, we cannot just put our hands up and say "they will send bombs/bombers anyways"...we ought to put up a very determined effort to stop them and obliterate such acts of cowardice,by way of an improved intelligence, policing, and a swift acting judiciary...
Until later

I am sorry but I could'nt quite comprehend what you said. You said you disagree to my"approach to remarks"?And I am sure you also read in my post that I too, much like you, believe in universal brotherhood and thats why I said certain changes at the helm in pakistan would do more good to it than to anyone else.If I did'nt subscribe to it then I would support a radical, more aggressive and a beligerent approach. But I dont.
