Children of following persons are not covered under Other Backward Class quota reservation.
- President, the Vice-President, and judges of Supreme and High Court under the exclusion from reservation in Civil posts and Services.
- UPSC, State Public Service Commission, the Chief Election Commissioner, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India,and persons holding constitutional position.
- Persons having a gross annual income of 2.5 Lakhs or above or possessing wealth above the exemption limit as prescribed in the Wealth Act for a period of three consecutive years are also excluded.
- Group A Officers (Direct recruits)
- Doctors, lawyers, chartered accountant, income tax consultant, Dental Surgeons, engineers, architects, computer specialists, film artist, authors, playwrights, sports persons, and sports and media professionals.
