hi i think history is divided into ancient medieval modern,for prelims plzz can anyone suggest very good book( max 2) for each part,i have seen people mentioning 5 to 6 books for each part,is that required to study all 6 books...... and i am going to take history in mains also..... | ||

Hi vinay, Yes, you have to read all the 6 books. or refer reddy book for prelims. but, if you read the reference books then only you can do well in mains

history can be classified in twoways viz 1.political history 2.socio economic histoy upsc now a days ismainly concentrating an socio economic history.hence it is safe to prepare initially with political history andthen switch to socio ecnomic history. | ||
