IMG Khan, former Secretary (Posts) in the Department of Posts, has joined the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) as its Member on 09 june. An officer of the Indian Postal Service belonging to the 1970 batch, Khan held several important positions in his career, which include Member (Operations and Marketing) and Member (Development) in the Department of Posts. He was the Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training and Additional Secretary and Controller or Examinations in the UPSC. Khan also served as Member Secretary of the Civil Services Examination Reforms Committee headed by YK Alagh in UPSC. He was also a Member of UPSC delegation that visited Australia and Singapore to study their Public Service Commissions. | ||
