Current Affairs Game....!!!

Hi All,

I have a small but useful suggestion. Why don't we have a current affairs game hereafter.

The game is simple.

1. Anyone can post their Current affairs question (strictly current affairs).
2.Anyone can attempt the other's questions and after doing so they have to post their questions.

This cycle will go for a long time if we follow it properly. Further everyone of us will gain very good follow up with the current issues.

If you people are agreeing with me, let me post my questions first.

Scientific Adviser to Defence Minister & Secretary Defence R&D, M Natarajan,received the prestigious C. V. Raman Birth Centenary Award carrying Gold Medal for his Outstanding Achievements in the field of Defence Research and Development and Strategic Systems of National importance.
CV Raman Birth Centenary Award is Sponsored by the Indian Science Congress Association. To commemorate the birth centenary of Sri C.V.Raman, NL, the Association instituted the annual award in 1989 to honour a distinguished scientist of the country every year. The award carries a Gold Medal. The award is presented to the recipient during the inaugural function of the Annual Session of The Indian Science Congress Association.

M. Natarajan, Scientific Adviser to the Defence Minister, received the Sir C.V. Raman birth centenary award-2008 and a gold medal from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the inaugural function of the 95th Indian Science Congress held in Visakhapatnam on January 3.
Mr. Natarajan, who is also Secretary, Defence Research and Development, was selected for the award for his outstanding achievements in defence research and development, and strategic systems.
The citation says he has been instrumental in the progress and realisation of various defence technologies and products in combat vehicles’ engineering, armaments, missiles, aeronautics, naval systems and life sciences. He made important contributions to the development of state-of-the-art defence systems, encompassing highly complex technologies, making India self-reliant.
According to a communiqué, Mr. Natarajan was given the Best Scientist Award for 1994 for his contribution to the success of the main battle tank, Arjun.

the US national is Nicholas Schmidle...i don't know the name of the article exactly..but it is do with something like this...He wrote an article about how pro-Taliban militants were gaining power in Pakistan, a key US ally in the war on terror...

please correct me if am wrong...
