Default Optional: mathematics and what?

Hello Friends,

I am planning to appear for civil service 2010.
I have done my B.Tech in electronics engineering and working in a software company since last 2 n half years.
i m planning to take mathematics as first optional. Please help me in choosing my second optional. Will electrical be a good choice? Or pub admin?
I can devote 4 hrs to study from Mon-Fri and 8-0 hrs in weknds.
Is this time sufficient for preparation?

Please help.

Thumbs up Re: Optional: mathematics and what?

Nitin, please do not use sms type of language, as far as your optionals are concerned a lot depends on your area of interest, you can go for either geography of public administration as your second optional subject, study materials are very easily available for these two subject and you can easily finish the syllabus in 7 to 8 months.

All the best.
