This is just out of my curiosity, to know who are all in IO taking it this year
By the way, i am planning my first attempt in 2008

I've decided to skip it this year..every attempt is precious, and right now I'm preoccupied with too many other things. I'll take it next year as I don't feel I'm adequately prepared

im taking this may 20th prelims..but this is my 2nd attempt..
last year there was re-exam of p.a. so i failed..
as choco said every attempt is very important..!!!

Please dont use the word failed. You discovered last year how prelims cannot be cleared, and so you will do better this year. all the best to all of you who are appearing. please remember that the most important thing in prelims is your coolness and confidence. if you think you will clear prelims, are confident of doing so, and have adequate preparation, there is no way you will not succeed. you will definitely clear and appear in Main's.

ok sir i better not use that word .. as you said .. if i have confidence i will do it.. yes that is absolutely you are correct.. this time im writting this exam with full of my belief & confidence... last year i only decided that i will not clear prelims by seeing the re-paper of p.a... in g.s. i have done very well.. i no where i will go wrong in myself.. i will correct my mistakes..i will make lots of mistakes not one or two but many..many..!!!

Hi Latha,

I am taking the prelims on May 20th. I have taken History as my Optional subject. I have prepared, but still too scared of negative marks . But i m confident that i would do well.

im taking this prelims on may 20th..
my optinal Sociology..
this is my 1st attempt..even me too little bit scare about -ve marking..
i just now started previous years paper to solve..
i have not still started G.S.. i have taken so many books for g.s. but unable to read..

im writing exam in Bangalore..there is no centre given for KGF..or Kolar district..were im staying.. so coming to bangalore centre..
