How was Prelims 2009???

how was prelims today???
well about me... history was good but general studies was boasting of current affairs... lets see how it works out.. please share your experience about prelims 2009

Psychology paper was relatively easy. I suppose the cut off would be high. GS seemed difficult to me but thankfully the mental reasoning questions very easy. But then, these are the inputs of a candidate who started preparing for the prelims only in the last three weeks.
I am expecting around 70-75/120 in psychology and around 75-80/150 in GS. What about others?
What are the usual cut offs?

hi.. my optional was pub ad.
to be honest i have no idea how i fared in exams! let the key be out for me to assess before i can really predict my cut off. usually something around 70 in both papers is always a safe zone.. but you never know! lets hope for the best!

My option was pub. ad. .The paper seemed to be easy but with some diplomatic question i couldn't take risk much and attempted 82.
As far as GS is concerned trend seemed to be changing. Because so many questions were asked for private firms. And new scop such as temples.
i attempted 90 but i was confident about hardly 60

HI guys... Its seems to be big question mark on GS for me to be frank...
Mental ability was difficult for me.. other questions reasonably done good....

well guyz i think i think upsc has changed the trend completely this time... just few questions on geography... otherwise they used to boast in earlier papers... loads of current affairs...

well i have attempted 92 in Indian History but i'm sure of only 66. while i just cant speak of gs...
just keeping my fingers crossed!!!

One good thing about around 2-3 months delay in releasing the result is like... everyone can remain positive and focus on mains... i'm 1 among them

I appeared for the first time with electrical as optional .
I am expecting a optional score of 150-160 and GS around 65. Do i have a chance of qualifying?Has any one here appeared with electrical in prelims before...what makes a "decent" score in this optional.
I feel pathetic at the moment having messed up so many questions!

hi im karthikeyan, this is my first attempt n i think i really done well. My optional paper is
Public Admininstration n i think it was easy... n In GS more questions frm current affairs n
abt industries n mental ability is some what tough.... Im waiting for the results just keeping my fingers crossed!!! plz tell me when results will appear...
