| I recently upgraded to new update of microsoft on my laptop, and guess what: My laptop windows became an illegal copy. Even though I had brought that for hefty some of money from TOSHIBA which gives a branded new Xp Home edition. Now all my calls fails and I am not able to clear the nagging screen, which says I am using illegal copy of windows, and I would not be allowed to have further upgrades. Grr! ![]()

| The MS accepted that they had problem with OEM versions registration. With many calls with support desk at MS, they helped me remove the registry and files to make me a genuine holder of license. Toshiba BTW does not know a deal about it, and instead requested me to send the conversation with MS ![]()
