KARNATAKA RAKSHANA VEDIKE CALLED FOR 2 DAYS BANDH IN BANGALORE FOR THE RELEASE OF SIVAJI MOVIE THROUGHOUT THE STATE

the latest news which came in bangalore one of kannada exclusive news channel said this :

all though today the sivaji's release in Bangalore made Karnataka Rakshana Vedike in Bangalore go for Strike or Bandh.
this film was released in B'lore with tight security & then too the KRV told to media that they are moving for strike. Especially Bangalore's South Corner or Division.
this film was released thorughtout India in 600 Halls.
But B'lore made its 1st show in Ajantha theatre, then stopped of running of the movie.
the cause for this i due to the cavery water dispute, telling that if they r going give all oppertunities for Tamilians who settled in whole of Karnataka State..***

who told you that there will be 2 days bandh in throughout Bangalore?
just a movement, in Bangalore all the theatres are running Sivaji movie.
& also it has been run both morning & afternoon shows successfully, throughout B'Lore.
Me watched the news in IBNLive & Times now, they had been mentioned the KRV has just been now stepped in for strike , but originally dont know whether they are stepping down for bandh call.

& you have raised an unrelated issue of cavery attached to this filmi news, please dont raise this issue, because there are many aspirants from Chennai & Tamil Nadu...this may lead to controversy..dont do it next please.

please tell me this. what sort of rakshana (protection) the KRV wishes to give to karnataka from sivaji? i havent heard anything that says the movie has anything anti - karnataka in it.

couple of my friends who saw this movie said they couldn't understand the movie as they simply couldn't hear a single dialogue; so much of whistling shouting, dancing by the fans throughout the movie.

this forum is for any kind of chit chat. i guess sivaji will be a good topic for chit chat. indulge yourselves.

being in Bhopal, i have no way of watching the movie. either i have to go to delhi or to hyderabad to watch the movie. since i'm not a die hard fan of rajni, i wont be doing either. any of you happening to watch the movie, please post a review.

the word Rakshana means Protection.
you have been totally mistaken the word of protection in the context of Sivaji.
as you think that they are not going to give any protection for Bangalore. you know why?
its just the name kept like that i.e. Karnataka Rakshana Vedike.
especially this vedike will always go for strike in bangalore for silly reasons. these are the first people to create everything.

coming to your first question :

>> if the movie consists anything about Karnataka or if it doesnt consists the name of Karnataka, these(KRV) are on the way to strike it, because recently there had been an issue regarding Cavery, so they are linking this issue to that & draging it , thats all. But i frankly say the movie never spoken anything about Karnataka.

>> Sir, what your friends said is absolutly rite. you know why, they consider Rajini as their god, & the people who are attached to Rajini's dialogs make them crazy to go towards what they do.
They are ready to give their life for Rajini for anymatter.
as the movie starts, you know why they whistle , shout & dance? its just because they think that they are seeing god in front of them appearing.
This film consists no great dialogs, but its just the old dialogs made & twisted in someother way. He shows what politicians are doing, how they are cheating the people, where they hides the money.

You no need to be the die hard fan of any fimi stars. films are there just to watch & enjoy, but not be get attached to particular hero or heroine.

Bangalore has been playing his movie.
Rajini started his life career as Bus Conductor in Bangalore , than after that only he became famous in films. He became a good friend of Dr. Rajkumar a famous Thespean of Kannada Film Industry , who recently died.

The dialogs what he puts in the movie makes the people to attache to him.

hi all,
Rajnikanth deserves his royal treatment. He has come the hard way and without any godfather. Why people see him as their icon is because people can relate to him. For ex:- if he acts as an auto driver he shall show how an ideal auto driver should be, if he is put in the role off Basha, he shows how the underworld should be treated.
But Rajni has not acted in any complex movies as Kamal Hassan did!! But he can fit into any type of roles.
In all this chaos I was wondering why certain channels came up with " Amitabh or Rajani?"...."Kaun sabse Bada?".....what was the need? to flare up something?....
Rajani didn't make big in the bollywood because he is dark and looks like a typical south indian and due to his hindi accent...though he is a marathi!!
...As far as Chanda_s sir's question about KRV is concerned...I can understand ur concern...The KRV is not against the film, but against the psychofancy of the fan followers. Just imagine a Kannada speaking guy staying in chennai or delhi for 10 years or so and fails to acknowledge the local language!! I call that separatism. The same is the case here!!
So the KRV without making big fuss is trying to protect the kannada front in its capacity.

because on June 15th In all ove South India as well as Whole India this film was release, at the same time In North India Amitabh newly released Jhoom Barabar Jhoom also released the same day. So now the media people wanted to know who will make more box office hits?

i remember a couple of years back there was this restriction in karnataka that non-kannada films should not be screened in karnataka for about 6 or 7 weeks from the time it was released elsewhere in the country. is this also a result of KRV's generous protection?

hello sir,
once upon a time there was a situation in bangalore as well as karnataka , that no other language films should run except Kannada.
because they are given more power to Kannada.
upto some extent this is offcourse related to KRV only, now also its KRV who are protecting Kannada to safer side.

they say that Bangalore is cosomopolitian city, but why cant they give equall rights to others also? im not still unable to understand.

now also i remember very well , that some years back, in one of the theatre in Bangalore they released one Bengali movie, but it took a controversy at that time.
