| On 28th September, the Right to Information day 4th anneversary we have launched our most talked about and most happening Portal of India: The Right to Information India (Right to Information India (RTI): Freedom of Information (FOI) Worldwide - home). The site contains News, articles, polls, FAQ, Download, forms, the most interactive forums, ask a question and posting success stories about Right to information in India. The website is build upon MySQL database and all the contents are dynamically loaded to give high degree of interactivity for members of RTI India. The website was supposed to be lauched a little late, but due to this crucial date we decided to launch the beta version of RTI Portal. Even though the portal is in beta state, but the backend is complete. There only needs some minor changes. Why we say it as beta because our team had decided for it’s big inaugration but time didn’t permit that so we have something in store for the furture. ![]() The information provided will be near authentic and full of analysis. We have already started responding and our members are interacting amongst themselves too. This way we will also learn lot about Right to information. One other section is the International RTI or Freedom of Information. That is basically comparison with the international best practices around the globe regarding the right to information. We will post news and bring in other Government/social/NGO’s/People to interact at RTI India portal who have the competence. Our “Ask a question about RTI” has already geared up. Officer's CPIO, PIO will get news, Government circulars, rulings, case studies, and platform for interaction. This will help them in making the right decision. Officers area is private area and only confirmed officers will get access to this area. We will manually verify their credentials and will provide then with access. The rtiindia.org is open for all citizens, individuals, Officers, organizations, Goverment institutions, NGO’s, and International participants to RTI India Portal. The membership is free and easy. Remember that RTI India is not profit portal with the sole motive to provide complete information regarding all aspects of Right to Information in India and in no way a Government affiliated nor does it holds any official documents. You are adviced to consult the requisite rules, guidelines, information, organization to get the final information. We are only supporting and trying from our busy schedule to help what we have gained from the Government Service. best Regards, Right to Information India Team Right to Information India (RTI): Freedom of Information (FOI) Worldwide - home
