This is a great idea, esp. for live interaction with the officers. Thank You very much!
Sir, if its possible, it would be very helpful if we get an idea when an officer is going to be online, so that we can login at the same time. Of course, only if it is convinient to everyone.

That is a good suggestion, and in fact our idea is what you just stated.
Once you guys test the live chat sessions and give us more of feedback, the job would be rewarding for us.

Thumbs up

Kushal Sir,

This is a Great idea!!! Thank you
The Look and feel of the chat window is nice. I have a doubt, whether all the chat sessions are going to be stored in the server and available for viewing later?

Yes, its working absolutely fine. Storing of chat would be helpful for those who miss the sessions and for reference.

This is an example of the chat session. How do you like the format?

@latha
We would selectively publish the chat session over forums for viewing and discussions, and the whole chat sessions would not be made public.

Also we have now Officer's Session, which will be completely official and only professional chat would be allowed. This way we would have an easy filtering and would save our time in publishing the content of chat session over forums. However, the Officer's session would be password protected. Once the session is called of, the password would be circulated to those via Email or via forums who are interested in joining the session. As of now the 'officer's Session' is password protected and for those who want to see how to enter the 'Officer's session', use this password 'indianofficer.com'

Kushal Sir,

This format is Good, clear and simple. Also, the chat sessions can be named - about the topic people are discussing. For ex. "Scoring in psychology mains" can be the topic for the chat pasted below. Just by viewing the topic and the chat, we shall clear our doubts. We may not ask the same question again to the same officer. This way i think we can effectively use this Chat sessions. But, this would add up more work for the moderators

That is a a good suggestion to name and categorize the chat sessions. My idea would be to post a pre-declared chat sessions especially from 'officers' Sessions' as I have told in my previous posts, there by saving time to select important chat sessions.

And thank you Latha for the feedback about chat sessions. I am pretty excited about these new codes and I foresee a good utilization in future.
