I wanted to know and wanted strong points over the view whether 'English language can only be the unifying language of India, is that true'?

I intended to believe that Acronym has become the norm of world society, but reading the article, it made me realize that it is specific to India only!

If that is so, why that is so? and is it the right thing to do to use acronyms in major discussions (Like in Newspapers)?

If you guys can brain storm this issue, I would like to shift this thread to 'Debates and Discussions'...
